There's a previous thread about who offers FP where there's also some info about limits:

Amazingly Nationwide STILL have not rolled out FP to existing customers.

And when they do, there is a £10 limit on faster payments. Yes, that is £10, not ten thousand. Just ten of your english pounds.

I think it's time to leave Nationwide for a bank that actually keeps up with the times.

I sent a £795 faster payment from my NatWest account last December, it arrived at my brothers Barclays account in seconds.

Nat West told me they can send up to £10K per day by FP. Is this true? Or is it £10 per transaction?

    Anyone had any experience?

Maybe I can't see the wood for the trees.... but I can't see the answer above!:confused:

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm differentiating between 'per day' and 'per transaction', and also asking about direct experience.

Transferred 10K several times by FP.
Maybe the receiving bank had FP restrictions.
  • Sorry to bump an old thread but is anyone aware of the daily limits for RBS?

Staff at my branch have given me mixed answers - some say £10k per day and others £10k/transaction.

    Cheers for any help.
if i had known then what i know now
