Easyjet: First time with them, advice please!

I am considering booking to go to Spain with my 2 primary age kids to visit my new nephew later this month. From SW England, the cheapest I have found is Easyjet from Bristol.
However, I've never flown with them before. Their website offers Speedy boarding which from searching on here seems to be a waste of money. Do other MSEs have any tips that they wouldn't mind sharing? Many thanks in advance.

It is a waste of money, spend it on treats when you get to Spain.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

If you get to departure lounge as soon as flight is called, then just get in the queue, for us its has nearly always been the best way. Some airports have two queues one for speedy and one for joe ordinary which makes life easier.0

Easyjet are fine - I have used them quite a lot and never had any probs. Check in opens 2 hours before departure and closes 40 mins before. The earlier you check in the better - they allocate you a letter on your boarding card A,B,C etc and when they board the flight they do it in order of who checked in 1st. This is a fair way as you get a better choice of seats. I never pay for Speedy Boarding - if they use a bus to take you to the plane then everyone just gets on the same bus and the speedy boarding does not apply!! It only works if you are getting straight on the plane and you don't know that till they call for boarding. HTH.
I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!
