Personally I've always just got them at the gate. I don't believe there is any savings to be made by getting them elsewhere. Not without having to sit through or visit a time share resort anyway.

    Great place to go though.

    Which Universal?

The cheapest for FL is usually online at the Universal website, and for CA there are loads of coupons available in service stations etc.

Florida is best for rides at Islands of Adventure.

California is best for the whole movie feel and the studio tour is great, especially Wysteria Lane :D

there is also a card called the go card if i remember rightly - i got it from the tourist centre and you can buy different amounts of days and go into lots of different attractions including universal included in the price - i will try to find the link to it.

Hang off for a day or two. Universal Studios has announced that it is going to reveal an unprescedented offer as part of its advert during the Superbowl overnight tonight. Although the advert won't show in the UK, it will be worth checking the web tomorrow or over the next couple of days to see what they are announcing.

  • Personally, I would not get the tickets at the door simply because you are wasting time on the day getting the tickets. I bought mine electronically (they emailed me a code) and they were definately cheaper than buying on the gate.

At the moment the deal is 2 days for the price of 1 in LA:

otherwise check out the disboards as there is a southern california section on there that includes non-disney theme parks (and vouchers/codes for other places including legoland)

The offer was 10,000 free tickets - unfortunately they went almost immediately.
