I think everyone gets the 'gold' awards but in my experience, and I've been with Empire for 15 years, these awards really depend on what you spend.
I've never got a tv or expensive gift when it says 'one of these gifts'.
I rarely ever pay full price for anything but wait until things are in the sale ( I had a lovely white £40 jacket for £13.99 less 10% com aswell) and rarely order unless I am getting a free gift because even if I don't want it some-one else in the family will.:rolleyes:The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
probably be a cheap clock or a photo frame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Goooooo with the Flowwwwww0

usually rubbish which is why they don't tell you what it is!!! they may be able to tell you when you order - when i worked there it came up at the end of the order - bit late then though!Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0

btw in 7 years working for redcats i never once put through a bronze or silver gift - only gold! what are the odds? i know there are loads of staff but still.....Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0

I was with Empire and i won countless gold awards. None of the gifts i received were worth more than £10.
This is just a way to keep you shopping. By the way, Empire is one of the worst catalogues out there. The clothes are awful - badly made and more expensive than anywhere else (except maybe littlewoods). Ditch it and go with Additions - the cheapest around and the clothes are fab!I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0 -
I can' remember the gold award free gift but I have a code for a free handbag PH0355, if you order 2 items you will aslo get the matching purse.
Also AT0514 is for a free blender.0 -

I received the blender. not top quality probably about £12 in the shops. But it works ok, has got a guarantee and as my daughter wanted one to make soup i gave it to her and she's happy enoughThe curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -

You are right, they are the same company but additions clothes are more trendy and a hell of a lot cheaper. Kays and Choice are the same and they have different products and variations in price.
I am a catalogue junkie and additions is the best by far. You don't get free gifts or discount codes but you make up for that in cheaper goods.I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0
