Well my son soon off to moscow to work for nine months but what hassle to get a visa and the cost since receiving his work invitation he went to a very dodgy place in old street London and parted with £243 to get this within 48 hours cost more than his return flight hope it's kosher. What experiences has anyone else? Anyhow is that difficult to get out there to see him for the weekend or is there an easier way

When we went on holiday to russia a few years ago we sent for our Russian visa ourselves to the Russian embassy. Very straightforward but I cannot recall how much it cost.0

I never considered applying other than at the Russian embassy for a visa. I bought 10 of them in 2007, not cheap but the Russian embassy were efficient and got them back to us within 2 weeks. I just followed the instructions on the embassy website.0

My son had to pay over two hundred pounds for a 48 hour turnaround does that sound feasible? It pays to challenge0
