Does USwitch take standing charge into account when calulating saving?
Hi folks,
Ive recently change to nPowers Sgn online V14 tariff as USwitch suggested it could save me about £150 a year on my current NP standard tariff. Ive just received the paperwork from NP confirming the change but noticed that a standing charge of about £13 a quarter is now being added. This may be a silly question, but I was wondering if USwitch takes into account the standing charge when calculating a saving, or if it goes purely on how much gas or leccy is used?
If it matters at all, I calculated my usage on USwitch using my annual KWh as opposed to how much I pay on a monthly direct debit, as I was told this would give a more accurate saving result.
Would really appreciate any advice on this?
Thanks.

They include the standing charge. They also deduct the annual discount.0

Cheers for that. I figured that I'd still be saving even if it didnt take the satcnding charge into account, but thats even better.
