I'm using Quicken 1998 in Vista and it works OK.

Have a look at Moneydance - there's a free trial, I believe - it will allow you the same sub/subsub/subsubsub business with categories. And it's similar enough to Quicken that it shouldn't take you long to get to grips with it. In fact I think it's more user-friendly than Quicken :-)0 -

So please how did you get it to work on Vista (I have 64 bit)

If you can get hold of Money 2002 off e-Bay give it a try. I've been using it since XP and can confirm itruns on Vista. I've just installed Win 7 64bit and it installs and runs fine on MS new OS just fine.0
