Did anyone else hear Eddie Izzard on TV last night saying that the most enjoyable 4 years of his life was those he spent in Northern Ireland?
Anyone any idea where,when and why he was here?

I think he lived in Bangor as a child before the family moved to Wales (?)

I have just googled this and on a website it says he lived in Northern Ireland until he was five because his Dad worked for BP.

BONO: Didn't you live in Northern Ireland?
EDDIE: Yes, I lived in Bangor until I was five. My dad worked for BP in Belfast, and it was the happiest time of my life. I didn't know the politics.

Hes coming to the Odyssey in December and tickets are £33.00.
What do people think of this venue for a stand up preformer?
Would have thought that the Waterfront would have been better but then I guess it wouldn't hold as much.
