Electricity Meter Savings?
My son and daughter in law pay for their electricity as they use it, with a meter. Are there any money-saving tips for this, and are they able to change their provider when they are on a meter? They seem to be paying over the odds, which I know is partly due to them using a meter.

They could try https://www.ebico.co.uk but using pre-payment they will be paying a lot more for their fuel than if they had a credit meter and paid monthly by DD. If they knew roughly how much they were spending each month, it would be wiser for them to get the meters changed, open an account solely for utility bills, set up monthly DD, ensure they have a few pound in there as a buffer, and then pay into the account each week or day as they would buy tokens, if they sign up with certain banks like Barclay's or Co-Op then they can pay in and withdraw money at the post office without charge (at the counter, not the machines they may have in there). It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
