Credit card debt clearing

Hi - can anyone advise as to whether a credit card company will accept a one off lump sum payment which is lower than the outstanding balance in order to clear the debt?

If the account has been defaulted for some time and you have no reasonable prospect of clearing the full balance, then the link below may be helpful.

What figures are we talking about here? they prob wont unless you have been missing payments for a while..as said previously "why would they"?TO FINISH LAST, FIRST YOU HAVE TO FINISH....0
