Firstsave - any expereice of them

I'm thinking of opening a fixed rate bond but don't really know anything about this bank. Before I go ahead I'd like to hear your experience of them.

The account is operated by Newcastle BS using the same system as Icesave and B&B's online savings accounts so same levels of customer service etc.

FirstSave is owned by FBN Bank (UK), who are fully FSA authorized etc. Parent is First Bank of Nigeria.

I have just opened a 1 year bond with them,although the rate has just dropped from 4.5% to 4.25%. The whole process of opening the account on line went very smoothly and quick. No complaints at all.

I've got a bond maturing with 'em in a coupla weeks....

I'll let you know if getting money out is as easy as getting it in... :rolleyes:
