Citibank, do they share you details?

I recently applied a citibank account, and had provisional approved, and got sent paper to sign, but didn't go ahead with the application.
Now yesterday, they rang up my work, and ask my application, I don't like this, as I don't mind if they contact me at home, but not at work. Potientially, there will be a lot of spam phone calls at work and with my name, my question is will citi share my detail with other companies? Is it a way to request it taken off their database? Many thanks.

I never had any problem with them doing this and I have been with them for 2 years.0 -
Don't give them (or other organisations) details that you never want them to use e.g. if you can't/don't want calls at work, just don't give them the number.
In any case, I would suggest you either delete your work number with them, or 'update' it with a number like your mobile.maxsquared wrote: »I recently applied a citibank account, and had provisional approved, and got sent paper to sign, but didn't go ahead with the application.
