York Residents Festival starts today and lasts until the 8th February.
Although most events are only taking place this Saturday and Sunday (31st Jan/1st Feb), with the majority being free.

You need to have a Yorkcard to take part, but these are available free from any York library. Just take along some ID and proof that you live in York.
