EDF underestimating electricity bill

Be careful.
EDF WILL read your meter, they have to - once every two years by law.
If there is a discrepency with what you have read, and what the meter man has read, they will investigate it.
Don't blame you though, if and if they do suspect anything just play dumb. :rotfl:
However if you do want to tell them your reading, and you get a big 'catch up bill' they will normally give you the same amount of time that it was estimated for, for you to pay it off.0 -
Thanks kellogscreditcrunch I'm quite good at playing dumb when I have too. I was gonna split it between maybe 2 or 3 bills. The houses were built in summer of 2006 and we have been here since spring 2007 and so far no-one has been near so doesn't look like I have that long.
I always thought my bills were low as well, oh well I will be alot more careful in the future.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.
