Having trouble with EGG card

hiya is anyone able to help me please , i send an email to Egg card about ppi ,ive been paying £30 odd a month,when i took it out i wasnt working , but they insisted i take this insurance .so send them email stating this and reply i got was
The Egg Card Repayment Protection was applied on your account in November of 2004.Certain customers are effected by the press release of how the protection was sold.These accounts have been highlighted, as the protection was applied in November of 2004 you're not effected and we're unable to refund as payments already made.If you like for me to cancel the Protection please reply stating so and I'll arrange for it to be cancelled.Should you need to contact me again, please feel free.Regards Customer Services
