  • Well it was payday today so added a few more pounds to the wedding / honeymoon fund. The budget seems tight this month as I am unsure when or what OH is going to get paid. He thinks he is getting paid on the 31 July so I will have to redo the budget then. OH is working the late shift for the rest of this week so I am going to take the opportunity of a quiet house to do some much needed study for my exam in September.

but chipping is good i've been chipping away for 2 1/2 years now and i'd say only really been able to start overpaying things since Oct/Nov. and i've almost cleared half my debt (yay i'm still happy over being able to have cleared so much of it, never thought i could)
  • Not much has been happening over the last few days. I added a few more pounds to the wedding fund and I hope to add some more when OH gets paid. This monthwe have saved over £500 some of which was used to pay for deposits for the wedding. Next month we hope to save £750. I am also waiting on £30.89 to come from quidco.

I see your totals have changed well done. Your honeymoon fund is looking lovely. Don't think I'll get one of those
  • We have to save as much as we can when the both of us are working. In 3 months time with OH contract runs out our savings will not be as much.

OH has got two more interviews lined up over the next 2 weeks for permanent work.

You will have a honeymoon even if it is only a few nights in a hotel. Positive thinking.

I'll be happy with a family holiday next year and no honeymoon I think to be fair, we'll see if we can afford it, but I wont be budgeting for it in the wedding savings
