credit card charge recovery ( help required )

Good Everning Everybody,

Sorry new on this site require help i went onto Money Saving Expert
site and clicked onto the recover credit card payment ( charges ) so
i downloaded the template letter to send to my creditors listed all the
charges and used the interest calculater as it told you.
lloyds bank ask for £ 304 with £ 378 interest total £ 682 they
sent me a letter offering £ 50.75 because 17 payment charges are
£ 12.00
Our joint Lloyds acc asked for £ 244 with £ 270 interest £ 514
but all they offered was £ 20 because 17 are £ 12
Halafax war are claiming including interest £1166 but they are
only offering £ 196 but they say they don't agree with the charges
Barclaycard master £1019 including interest but they only
offer £ 160 inc 8% int
Barclaycard £ 1079 including interest but only offer £ 168 inc
8% int

What do you mean by ''charges'' - does this include interest charged and late payments or bounced payments?

sorry what it means is LATE PAYMENT FEES and OVER LIMIT FEES

You can ask for a refund but it is unlikely you will get any more back. Do you not take any responsibility for your actions?

You can try and threaten them with Ombudsman as it will cost them to defend it - but even Ombudsman might not agree with you.
