Gift Certificate as Investment?

I came across this interesting gift certificate deal while shopping for art posters. At this website called EdgarEmdenGallery.com, one month after you make a purchase, they email you a 10% reward certificate. If it happens to be a gift certificate, and you don’t use it for 90 days, it is automatically canceled and your money is refunded in full. Here’s the funny part. One additional month later, they also refund you for the 10% reward certificate! Now, it all depends on how you see it, of course, but you end up getting 10% on your money in 4 months. Assuming you repeat this three times, that’s 30% annual rate! (Not bad). I don't think they realized this yet, because it is still up on their website.

You mean the Edgar Emden Gallery at:
P.O. Box 14906
Irvine, CA, 92623-4906
Makes it a bit difficult and expensive to collect if they don't return the money +10% don't you think, this being a UK based website?
Or is this SPAM?0 -
