The Dome Doncaster

I'm thinking of taking my kid for her birthday day out, to The Dome, Doncaster for swimming/skating. Has anyone been? Is it worth over an hours drive for?
Anyone know a way to get discount tickets?
We were going to go to Butlins Skegness for the day, but it's not open on the day we want.
Thanks

I've been a few years ago, its not bad for a family day out, you used to be able to get swim and skate tickets for about 5quid each.

I live close to the Dome and there's also a few restaurants, a cinema on the same complex so it's a good place to spend the whole day. Will probable be a bit more than £5 now as it was bout that much when I went for my birthday about 10 years ago, but it's still good value for the whole day. Also have Skating Discos, Foam parties etc but not sure of the timetable for things like this.0
