Need: Sewing pattern for bear factory clothes!

Hi Everyone
im a sewing beginner but have just used a pattern for an 18" doll and it fits the bear factory bear just fine. There are alot of free patterns on the net for dolls. give them a try

I was also looking online for a pattern for clothes for a build-a-bear. Couldn't find anything suitable!
Having scraps of material left from making cushion covers for the kids yesterday (really easy with just straight seams), I used my daughter's current bear's dress and made a pattern from greaseproof paper as suggested then cut out the material and sewed it all together. Wasn't the easiest material to work with, bit thick I think, but it looks great and she was so pleased to wake up this morning with a new dress for teddy - not as difficult as I feared it might be. Now my son wants me to make pjs for his bear!!!
Hope this helps. My thought was 'if it goes wrong I've only wasted my time and some off-cuts of fabric' - thankfully it didn't and I saved £10-12!
