How much did you spend today? 2/2/06

Nothing as yet and will hopefully stay that way! Am staying with my parents for a few days which helps (they won't let me pay for food etc!). Also its my birthday tomorrow and they are taking me out for a meal which will be very nice, haven't eaten out in a long time (since I last visited them actually) :beer: . Am now debating whether to go into town and buy a lovely sandwich for lunch (local deli the best ever, withdrawal symptoms when I'm away ) or to eat the cold pasta and pesto thats in the fridge.

The pasta it is!! The thought of breaking a potential no spend day is too much! And would have to admit my failure to all on here . Its official, this site is good for my spending!

Had to pay the gas bill so that was £101 but that came out of the joint account and the monthly budgeted amount we put in there.

£2. 48 for a birthday card and an energy saving lightbulb

Lunch was free as I had a bagel factory loyalty card that I had finished so a free filled bagel.

Only other spends will be £10 to the guy who arranges stair cleaning in our building (£10 every 3 months between 2 of us to have the stair cleaned every week).

Hi folks,

Peed off with myself as just spent £2.80 on lunch when I had a defrosted soup in the work fridge - just couldn't face another day of soup and yoghurt which I know is not the right attitude to have! That's it for today though.

Feeling fed up! Just went to hairdressers for first time in 6 months :eek: (been growing hair and now it is very long) and all I had was a trim and a colour - dark blonde) and the bill was £34! wow....last time I went I got charged £24 so I'd like to know where they get an increase like that from huh! :mad:

Spent just under £60 for tesco shopping stocked up on lots of bogof's.
Saved £5 with a discount coupon.
Although i ordered 7 packs of mixed pepers by acident, luckly i saw them so the driver took it off the bill!!
I was trying to order the shopping last night whilst the kids were jumping around me and making lots of noise, touching the computer etc Soo i will never do that again!! Next time i'll do it when there not around!

Paid £15 for my t-mobile bill (overpaid last month)
£100 to rent
£3.70 for train travel to work tonight but i'll get that back.

Daughter needs new swimming costume, so will get that after school, but i will pop in sainsburys pick up 2 nectar vouchers and go to adams(worth £10 there) so i wont be paying for that.

Sorry to say it but its prob because your hairs longer, the longer your hair the more expensive it is to get it cut and coloured.
Have you tried your local college for your hair appointment?

No, hadn't thought of that before Sparkle but I'll give it a go and see if I can get an appointment there next time

I've spent £4.71 today on some olives, 2 red peppers a cucumber, 3 onions, a cabbage, some fennel and a halloumi cheese stuffed turkish bread thing. Bargain huh?

Had hospital appointment and walked there and back.

I am not spending anything today :j ,I did treat my sons to a take away pizza last night,I found it very hard handing over a ten pound note :eek: ,the pizza cost £8.99 my son decided to spend the change on a drink,so I didnt get any change :mad: I think all this money saving is making me a bit tight fisted :rotfl: this is the first take away we have had since I joined this site but I resented it,before joining here we would have upto 3 take aways a week :eek: .

I've spent 90p on 2 vending machine coffees which were disgusting, I'll save money by not doing that again, 50p on carparking and £1.65 on lunch at work. Only needed to spend 50p today really though, just keep getting carried away..............
