27 weeks exactly and I'll be at Heathrow waiting for my flight - yippeeeeee!!

I havent spent any ££££ so far, and probably wont - have lunch with me (cheese & onion sandwich - yummmmm!!!) and fruit!! No plans tonight to be honest, but might go to the cinema (unlimited card)..

Returned my trousers yest + £17.99 and finally cashed in a Postal Order for an ebay item + £6.00.

Bought food shopping at the start of the week using nectar points, so will save the £12.50 in cash in my travel fund rather than spending it.

Am working on Sat @ new 2nd job = + £37.50 and going to the Travel Show at Earls Court on Sunday (free tickets!!).

I love saving money!!!!!

I am off work today as I have some things to do in the house... so will be having lunch here and then going to My Mum's this evening for dinner..

So I should have a 0 day! I really hope I do as I've been saying that since Monday and haven't managed one yet! I'm gonna re-start a spending diary from today (thanks for the inspiration Southern Scouser) to see where my cash is going...

Still on budget though and paid a large chunk to debts so i'm happy!! :T

£0.70 car parking (used car park next to hospital, instead of car park at hospital, where they charge £2.20!), £6.50 on prescription. All budgetted for, wasn't even seduced by Boots bargains!! :j

At least days like this make me feel a bit better when I do spend money on going out etc.

Determined that this month is going to be my month where I dont overspend on my salary (ie no overdraft)

Hi all

I spent £13 on 2 prescription items :eek: , but these are monthly costs at the moment, so budgeted for.

I also spent £20 at my local farm shop, buying veg seeds and seed potatoes for my garden, so money well spent, as I should have nearly all the veg I need now from summer onwards. :j

I had to go to the Job Centre today, so took the opportunity to nip into the High Street (wouldn't have gone otherwise as it's far too cold!)

£0.39 on a board backed envelope from Stationery Box to post an Ebay item.

£1.67 in Holland & Barrett on mixed nuts and a Green & Blacks chocolate bar (weekend 'treat' as I'm trying to eat healthily during the week)

£5.44 in Bodycare on toiletries including mouthwash and tissues. The tissues are ten 'handbag' size packs at 49p for all ten - bargain!

£6.00 in Poundland. £3.00 on various sized packs of Jiffy bags for posting Ebay items (another great bargain as Stationery box sells them for around 59p each!) Also soap, envelopes for posting job applications and chocolate truffles as part of a friend's birthday prezzie.

£2.79 on a Valentine card for OH. We have agreed not to buy each other a present this year, but to each put some money in and go out for a meal the weekend following Valentine's Day.

Finally £1.80 on a sandwich and Swiss bun from the bakery. (Yes, I know I said I was eating healthy - slight slip up with the cake!)

Total = £18.09

Ms_london - You'll have such a fab time! I recommend Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands on the east coast of Australia. Also loved Sydney and Brisbane... wish I was going again (sigh). My sister is off to Oz next week on a year's working visa... hopefully I'll be able to go again in the not too distant future - if we save enough we will go for honeymoon.

oh dear, I feel today is going to be expensive as is the weekend!

getting myself something nice from M&S for tea as OH out for a mate's birthday tonight so have house and TV (yippeee) to myself.

Am going out with OH and the girls and their OH's tomorrow night so that will be drinks and a cab home then work have dropped going to a ball on me for saturday night - guests of a client but I think we will have to buy some drinks and also cab home - boo hoo!

had to go and buy something for dinner tonight as Tescos rang yesterday to say that their van had broken down & can't deliver yesterdays order till Friday night :mad:

the good news is I can get my delivery charge refunded if I ring up after its been delivered.

so £5.68 on food, not planning on spending anymore today.
