BRIC/BRIE- Help?

Please dont laugh. Have come into a minute windfall and have decided to put it away long term into a Stock and Share ISA ideally, else not to bothered if cant go into ISA wrapper, but I wanted to invest in the new funds and cant recall if its BRIC (Brazil,Russia,India,China) or is it BRIE or what as doing a search on Hargreaves Lansdown didnt produce any results, so who does these funds.
Thanks and hope you had a giggle on my behalf, and yes I do know BRIE is a cheese before some smart alex points that out!

BRIC stands for Brazil, Russia, India and China. Its a pretty racy sort of investment in emerging economies (which are a current favourite of mine). Have a look at http://www.trustnet.com/ut/funds/perf.asp?sort=29&ss=0&txtS=&txtSS=&columns=&page=0&booIMA=1&reg=all&sec=all&ima=glblemer&unit=all&type=all and this will show you the sort of thing you are looking for. I think someone is launching a specific BRICS fund soon. This is a good read 'Fundology', it will help you make sense of the gobbledygook and understand risk better.
Survivor of debt, redundancy, endowment scams, share crashes, sky-high inflation, lousy financial advice, and multiple house price booms. Comfortably retired after learning to back my own judgement.
This is not advice - hopefully it's common sense..

Allianz Global Investors are launching a BRIC fund from 22 Feb.

Although expect to see many such launches from other investment houses over the coming months.

Can't really get too excited about them personally as exposure to these markets has already been achievable for some time via many of the GEM (Emerging Markets) funds and even a few of the more aggressivly managed Global funds.
