Now is probably the worst time unless you have a spotless credit report. You might be OK - it's been 6 mths. Get a copy of your report from Experian or Equifax and check it yourself.
Any pay off your debts and close these damned credit accounts! If you will the end, you must will the means.0 -

What do you want the new credit card for? Are you planning to transfer the debts on your existing more expensive card in order to pay it off quickly, or do you plan to spend on it..?If you will the end, you must will the means.0

jus wanted to transfer and pay less interest and to make purchases.0

its unlikely you will be able to find a card that will allow you to do both at a low interest rate. Have you tried the comparison sites (e.g. uswitch, moneysupermarket, etc?) There is a section on this website you should read which gives good advice on cards. If you will the end, you must will the means.0

i dont mind about the purchases becoz most of the time i use cash.jus wanted to change from the high interest to a much lower at least 11% is better than 39% which am paying with vanquis.i got the card to build my credit history thats it.its high time i changed0
