At the moment, both hubby and myself savings are locked in Bonus 60, invesdirect, isas and tessas. We mostly bank with Nationwide. It's the same for the chidren. Thanks

The Nationwide esaver has a better rate than all of the instant access accounts, apart from the smart saver. The rates have recently been reduced from 4.75% to tiered rates of 4.55%, 4.60% and 4.65%. You need a flex account to instantly move money in and out of these accounts.
Cahoot looks good value at 4.85% AER, interest paid monthly.

I've got accounts with A&L, ING and Cahoot.

Cahoot are the best for interest and no catches at the moment. Website and transfer times are poor compared to ING though.
    Debt in 1993: £35,000 | Debt in 2006: £0 | Assets in 2006: £2.3m and counting. :j

There is no upper, middle or lower class. Simply those that have class and those that don't. ;)
