Abbey - the worst customer service

I've just spent 40 minutes on the phone with Abbey trying to get a new personal password for my credit card. During that time, I was transferred NINE times between different departments, each one claiming that it's not their thing. The last person hung up on me.

This is my third time dealing with these people. First, they sent me the wrong card. Then they got my name wrong. How many different mistakes can a single company make?

I'm going to keep this card until the interest-free period runs out. Then I'm clearing the balance and cutting up the card.

  • I spent 6 months making numerous calls to them to get a new pin number for my debit card. They are a bloody nightmare!
