Quick update, "debt" has now been passed over to "Midas Legal Services" threatening more litigation action etc etc.

Midas Legal Services looks like its just part of the Moorcroft group from what i can see on other forums.

    could someone please advise

p.s before anyone asks, yes the letter is signed off by Mr M Dobson (litigation officer)

So no change then. Carry on as before (ignoring is bliss).

Don't forget their 'debt' people are the same (ok, maybe the mate's office round the corner!) scum and just because they say they are debt collectors doesn't mean they can come round and take your stuff. It's just another way of indimitating.

    **update**

Just had a call from the people who live at the house i used to live at saying that a couple of days ago Moorcroft made a home visit (to collect the "debt" i assume). Obviously the people who live there said i no longer live there and that was that. only thought i would mention it as i cant see many instances of home visits on here related to private parking "fines".

i assume that the next letter will be more of the same and then hopefully they will give up. i dont get to see the letters as they arrive as i dont live there and i just pick up any mail whenever possible, which is a good thing because of one of these scumbags knocks on my door i will not be happy atall.

Turning up unannounced, that is without making an appointment, is against CSA rules. The OFT takes a dime view of this as well. Report them.

Thanks for that, how exactly do i go about reporting them. they have been around asking for me again since my last post and apparently have said to the person who answered the door that they will come back at some point next week. if they just left an appointment card or something then i would try and get round there to tell them where to go myself but as i dont live there then it just ammounts to continued harrassment to the people who do live there.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for that, still not really sure what to do as the general felling on here is to ignore everthing that comes from them but by putting a complaint in does this somehow mean that i have achknowleded this "debt".

I will report them but just dont want to it in a way that means im going to continue get hounded even more.

i was under the impression from comments on here and other peoples posts that they would have just given up by now. perhaps i am the exception (typical)

Would really love to be there if/when they visit there again, dont think i would be able to control myself though.

If you engage with them they will hound you all the more. How hard is it to ignore something ?
