Does anyone know where on the A & L website I can find sort code and ac number for my new e-saver. I have tried the transfer from my nominated account from A & L but this is very slow. I prefer to send it directly from my current account.

they don't do sort code and account no, like ordinary banks. You will have a 9 digit 'account number' . From that, the last 8 digits are your account number, the 1st digit is the last digit of your sort code. The sort code begins with 72-50-0.... (i think, u can check on the website, type in sort code in the search bar.)
so for example if your 9 digit 'account number' is 123451234, then sort code is 72-50-01, account no. is 234512340 -

The above might help. I think the 9 digit a/c number is only current accounts.0 -
For an e-Saver you don't have an account number in the traditional sense.
All the info you need is here:

Basically you are using a '00000000' account number, and your A&L eSaver account number must be used in the reference field of the payment.0
