Sorry, i wasn't saying they should give out cash. I mean't give him back cash when he returned on Tuesday upon him giving them a receipt for the cost rather than wait for it to be in his pay, which won't be until the 12th as thats when he will be paid for the week commencing 30th - 5th (they go from Fri-Thurs as a week for some odd reason) at which he'll stay out on the 2nd.

When he went to London with the 5 other men they booked everything in advance and sorted out a allowance per driver at the pub next to the hotel to cover the evening meal.

Well then, you really need to get the full story from him as to why they were able to book rooms for everyone in advance before, and now they suddenly can't do it.

Is it possible that the company is having cashflow issues?
