Hi all,
Just in the process of buying our first house and have a q for you all.
We are buying a house that is a P/X and now builder owned. The family who p/x'ed it are still there until their house is completed in march.
Now my question is this:
We have today got through a load of things from our solicitors including a Fittings and contents form, but it was filled out in Aug when the builder "bought" the house, so it has been completed by the family. Shouldnt the things we get have been completed by the builder themselves?even if they'd just transcribed the sheet the occupiers provided to them when the builder bought the house from them?
After all if we have any issues we will have to take it up with the builder?
does that make any sense lol!

Who you buying it off?0

The builder, they own it0

Well you have to take up the issues with the person who owns it.
What's on the F&F list?0 -
thats what i am asking really, should the F+F list have been filled in by the builders?
When you say what is on it do you mean who has signed it? if so, the current occupiers.
The list lools like a standard template0 -
the builder (because he is hte owner) has to complete the paperwork, it would be like my neighbour filling out stuff for me to give to a buyer, they dont own it0
