advice on A & L premier current account

Im thinking of applying for an Alliance & Leicester premier current account you get £50.00 cash back through quidco and £100.00 cash back from A & L if you apply online, I have had a look but cannot find anywhere if there is a monthly charge for this account, does anyone know at all

There are other conditions to meet, ie switch DD's etc. Were you aware?

Not if you follow the account T&C's ie £500 monthly credit, otherwise £5 per month. All charges are detailed on their website, along with the T&C's.

I just read up a bit more, you have to pay 500.00 paid in monthly and have direct debits transfered over, the £100.00 gets paid after 4 months, my quidco has still not tracked has not been that long, im setting this up beacuse I wanted a new bank account was fed up with hsbc so the money is just a bonus

You only need to keep the account open until you get your £100. You can then close it if you want to.

What if the account you transfer has no direct debits?
Also, can the £500 be transferred from another Bank or does it have to be wages etc?

...for Premier Current Account have funded at least £500 from a non-Alliance & Leicester account within 11 weeks of opening the account. If you do not have any direct debits to switch you will not receive £100...

I didnt have any direct debits on the account I "transferred" from. They did move all of my payment detail ie// saved previous payee's though.

I got both the £150 and £50 too! I recommend it!

Yes, they have. The most recent offer is very strict and you need to have at least one active direct debit to transfer. Even before that, some people have said they were disqualified from getting the incentive because they didn't have any DDs.
