Just went onto NTL's website offering half price family pack for 6 months - £60 saving, Just phoned up and got the discount - no problems

Depends very much on your very individual usage profile. The above includes line rental.

Little different to BT's charges, apart from the connection 6p, which they think matches th BT minimum call fee, otherwise 3-2-1p.

Anyone know if "5p Talk Plan" still available? Still says 5p talk plan---free, on my bill.

The offer says

"Great value at only £9.75 per month for the first 6 months, exclusive of your telephone line rental which you must purchase with your TV package*."

So you have got line rental and calls to add on.
