Just phoned NRock as hadn't received confirmation of mortgage holiday 3 weeks after sending letter. Apparently they don't send out the confirmation until a month before the first payment to be affected. Am I supposed to be psychic? Wouldn't it be much better if they put a standard letter in the post saying the letter was received and booked and confirmation would be received within a month of the holiday starting rather than leaving folks hanging?? Is it just me that likes to be acknowledged when I communicate with someone??? !!!!!!!!!

    Okay - rant over:p

It's Erin's birthday next wednesday so having her party this weekend.

just back from lunch break, had to do mad dash round a couple of shops in this backwater town, to buy party bags and some "nice things not rubbish" (erin's words) to go inside them....

    keyring
bubbles (the blowing kind, not chewing gum or bathtime kind!)
    Glo sticks
    animal cookies
    chewits
    birthday cake, of course....

Does that seem okay to you...? There are only 3 of Erin's friends coming over so didn't cost a great fortune. They are all going to the local Kids Craft Centre (£5 a head) for 2 hours of Valentine card making, then back to the house for a tea party with singstar.......

    I must be mad!!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

    Afternoon gang.
Not seen Halight on here for a few days, hope he's OK.

General hi  to all including newbies and lurkers.

Big hug to those in need :grouphug:

I'm absolutely freezing, the house just doesn't seem to be getting warm, I think the boiler is on its way out as I'm strugglingt o get hot water from the shower and I refuse to shower in cold. I'm having to boil the kettle and use the sink to wash in.
I suppose at least I'm healthy.

Bookie, hugs for you and your friend, I hope she likes needles as there will be plenty of blood tests ahead :(

Thanks. She is our retired vicars wife - in her mid 70's. They used to live in S Africa and have both had a couple of bouts of skin cancer. Lots of praying going on obviously. Lovely sweet old couple.

Ok can anyone help me on my credit report??
It doesn't list my HSBC current account that has the OD on that we are paying off via CCCS. It has the other current account I used to have and the credit card. Do you think that one has just been missed? I had to phone them up as they couldn't match all the data and he was going through finding data.
Next question is, if I partially satisfy HSBC is that really going to effect my credit anymore based on the fact I already have 3 defaults? I guess it will just prolong clearing my file?
