How can I find out where a car was registered?

I'm trying to find what county/city the registration mark AON comes from, any ideas on how to find out? have googled, jeeved and don't know where else to go from here, so calling on my ever faithful helpers!!! thanks.

    Have a look at this site. I printed the Nos off to keep the grandchildren occupied on long car trips.

    I stand corrected :)

    My truck is AO55 *** and it came from Volvo in Norwich. I should have read the question properly!!
