Hi
bit of a strange one , wondering if anyone can offer any suggestions/help
my HP7680 has tonight decided to start printing backwards !! had a look at HP site which suggests it might be something to do with installing SP3 , which i have not done .
it then recommends to turn off "mirror" printing which i have done , but to no effect.
Any other suggestions - thanks

system restore to pre sp3 to confirm, when restored turn off auto updating and get back onto hp to find out what exactly is it in the 600Mb plus of sp3 thats doing it.
There are known problems with the usb driver release of sp3 and some older via usb2 chips, if u confirm its that i can point you to a possible fixclick here to achieve nothing!0 -
thanks , will try that when i get home later . though system restore is a bit hit or miss , sometimes it works , others it doesn't"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

Have you tried turning the printer cable the other way around?

Hi,
Funnily enough, mine started to do the very same thing a couple of months ago...it seems to be a bit of a well known glitch with HP, but I had a google and I did manage to get it working correctly again, but I`m only going from memory here. I had to go into printer properties...printing preferences...layout options...page order...and change the page order to Back to Front....Might be worth a shot anyway :0)0 -
I've seen this on a hp as well, expensive one it was too.0
