  • well withdrew my spends for today and the debit card will be banished to drawer not to be taken out again until next week its going to be tough but am looking forward to the challenge, all of the debts and mortgage overpayments have been paid out so can breathe a sigh of relief. am waiting a few days then will phone the cc companies to reduce my credit card limits

    did not reduce my credit card limit and used my dc to pay for dinner last week gulp so would score myself a C- (must try harder) for this week

    so am in even more negative assets than I was in 2 years ago, not a good sign, I think that may be a reflection of house prices so am not going to dwell on it too much but work hard on chipping away the unsecured debt for the remainder of this year so that in 2013 I can throw more money at my mortgage, build up my rainy day fund and save towards my business idea. hopefully rebooting my diary may be the motivating factor I need. watch this space folks :D:D:D

    Hello DFW family- been going through my old posts and feeling a mixture of sadness and happiness. A pat on the back for all of the financial achievements but also tinged with some sadness and frustration around some incomplete targets such as my savings and clearing off some CC. Its a mixed bag but reading some of the posts and the support I have recieved it has recharged me to keep going. I have joined some challenges so that has encouraged me to think before I spend.
