halifax charges

Hi,
I have just had a letter from halifax saying that i am being charged a £35 fee.
It is because i have recently changed my accounts to a new bank account i have swapped all my direct debits to my new account and also my monthly pay,but i forgot this particular direct debit wasnt going to change until febuary and when they tried to take it out there wasnt any money in that account and then they have slapped this charge on me.
Is there any way i can stop them from charging me?

Hi, its always worth a phone call to them. I managed to get a £35 fee plus a £28 unauthorisation fee removed from my account last week due to it being the first time we had gone overdrawn. I'd give it a go, nothing to lose. Good luck.0
