i just keep thinking about it more becuase my mum has just decided to tell me how much she tore with my older sister (yeah ma, ta for that  )

Angel, my sister tore and had long labours, but she went straight to hospital and laid on a bed. Like I said stay busy and stay on your feet as much as possible. I don't do stitches, never had. Just because you're from the same family means nothing. When the MW says stop pushing, listen!!!
Too many children, too little time!!!

Excellent advice there...I remember the midwife with my first shouting at me to stop pushing, so she could ease the head out gently...she explained (whilst doing it) that it helps to prevent tearing. I always remembered that:)

Well no midwife appeared, i'm sure it was today she was supposed to be coming!!

I have finished faffing with letters and figures for today, it wears me out:(

I am going to 'try' and get on with some uni stuff now instead.

    See you later

Tink I used to live in West Wales and my school bus was always the first to go home woohoo. Then moved to Cardiff and sod all!!

feelie - your garden looks really deep!!

Sami - that's what it's like here - I got someone into grit our carpark in work because we got loads of elderly and ill people in so it's all gone here now too. The weather says it's coming in even more today from the east and sweeping North so am hoping I can get day off at least pretend to work from home tomorrow.

Mentioned the massage to my OH last week and he wants to know when we can get started! I am such a wimp when it comes to pain so will do eveything in my power to minimise it - oh I am such a novice.

Mel - how do you subscribe to thread?
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
