Yeah, I did that last year - it's gross. Last week I also bought the ASDA's own beef gravy - doesn't mix well at all and was rank.

Had lovely Bisto last night when I had my bangers and mash with onion gravy.

My dad's advice on contraception was

'Don't let anything into your stomach unless it's through your mouth'
    :rotfl:

Very embarrassing when he said this in front of my mates - he thought it was hilarous

Kystal, when you have a moment can you let me have your thoughts on nipple shields? my friend used these back in Oz when she was having a few troublesome days breastfeeding (and she was able to carry on breastfeeding).

i am thinking of buying a set as they are only just under £4 and thought if i ended up having sore nipples, instead of giving up, i could try them and see how i got on?????

Know the one you mean in ash-vegas! Thanks

Here you better not tell your MIL about me being on here so much - good job I can multi-task and get all my work done! Also, always work about 50 hours a week anyway! Don't want her getting the wrong idea!!

My daughters learnt by my mistakes, lectured enough on how hard life is when you are young with kids. Talked about all contraception and never to rely on just one. Now 19 and 20,good jobs and oodles of common sense.

I'm hoping to follow in my family footsteps. Mum was about 20 when she got married, had first baby at about 23. Just celebrated 26th wedding anniversary! Gran married at about 18, had first baby at about 20. Just celebrated 50th wedding anniversary! Great Gran married at about 18, had first baby at about 20, and was married for about 30 years before she lost her husband.

Fingers crossed I'll have as long a marriage, but thats more up to OH than me. Don't know how he puts up with me!

feelinggood - as far as the class goes, lots of those posh mummies will have hubbies that are working 24/7 and can't take the time off work to go to classes. DH & I aren't going to a class, but then we've both been through it a few times.

Sami - I was a grandmother about a month after my 40th birthday - while I was pregnant with DS. And again a week prior to DS being born. I just enjoy the fact that I can spoil them and give them back.

i get hooked on border security and nothing to declare when i go back home too. dont watch it so much here but hubby does. he loves telling me what people have been trying to bring into the country (nothing to declare).

the guy that narrates border security is an actor who was on a popular police show back home.

when i flew back home in rush in towawrds the end of last year and I flew into Sydney for dad to pick me up i was dreading they would be filming nothing to declare that day

Glam I'm not gonna tell MIL who u are :D she might get scared you'll tell me things LOL just like she does (she's in the police:o)

Feelie my family are a mixed bag, most of whom are divorced  I really don't want to follow that bit! although most of both families didn't have kids as early as I have most were at least 25 before having their 1st
