How would I use Excel to determine the probability of not throwing a six if I threw a dice three times.

    =125/216

    =(5*5*5)/(6*6*6)

    =5^3/6^3

    Take your pick.

    Like trcooke says...
    The probability of not throwing a six is 5/6 (i.e. five-sixths).
    The probability of not throwing a six on three occasions is (5/6)^3 (i.e. five-sixths cubed).

    In Excel, you could use one or trcooke's examples or =(5/6)^3, which makes the most sense to me.
