GameCube - best deals?

Hi,
Game have a new one, with Sonic-my son thinks he is sonic! Plus ice age meltdown game plus a football game for £79.99

Is this a better bet than going down the 2nd hand route?

New to these but my children are filling up my computer with games so will have to do some thing!
Was looking at getting a cheap 2nd hand PS1 but can`t get sonic games-so no good.

2nd hand route will obviously be a bit cheaper, and if you hunt around you should be able to get one in decent condition. You can get just the game cube and a controller and all leads on Ebay for around 30 quid, so that'd leave you around 50 to get some games, which if you got them on Ebay too would buy you quite a few. When I bought mine I noticed that the 2nd hand gaming shops often had their 2nd hand gamecubes priced close to Toys R Us's new prices (Toys R Us had good bundles for 49.99) - so be careful of that!
