I have been trying to get hold of Confetti customer service for another reason and they have very bad communication.
So it would make me wonder if you had any problems with the wedding, u might not be able to get hold of them to sort it!0 -

Hiya
I have just got wedding insurance for my wedding next Sept. I finally went with ecclesiastical as they underwrite M&S and John Lewis. The cover was good value and it was easy to do online. I have not heard any good reviews about EandL so avoided them.
Hope this helps0 -
I havent taken insurance, I just pay for everything on my credit card so covered via that for things that are over £1000

im getting married in may 2011 and have paid 2 deposits up to now one for church and one for venue - my mum suggests with the credit crunch and the way it is at the moment i should take out wedding insurance to cover us as im now wanting to go to one company to provide flowers, wedding stationery, chair covers, centrepeices and basically everything for the venue and my mum thinks if im putting so much into one company i should be insured against it - trouble is i dont know where to begin or what to look for ??have the best little boy in the world :j

There is another company that advertises in the bridal mags:
https://www.weddingplanninginsurance.co.uk/ideas
The ideas bit is because I saw the ad in Wedding Ideas magazine and that is what is quoted.
Wedding Plan Insurance covers you for the following:
Cancellation of wedding/reception
Rearrangement of wedding/reception
Failure of Suppliers
Wedding/Ceremonial Attire
Wedding Gifts
Wedding Rings, Cakes & Flowers
Wedding Cars & Transport
Photographs & Videos
Personal Accident & Legal Expenses
Insurance is available from £23.99
Personally, and I am speaking from a Planner's point of view I wouldn't necessarily get all my flowers, centrepieces, chair covers and wedding stationery from the same company. I can see why your mum is worried Kayleigh.0 -
Another company that does wedding insurance is e&l insurance:
www.eandl.org.uk/wi
:money:
Tel 08449 809 559
Haven't used them myself so have no idea what they are like.
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE

I went for debenhams which was £53 and I got £15 cashback via quidco. I got it a year in advance because I started putting deposits down. I looked through the various ones and they're not that different IMO.0
