I have been looking for insurance for my wedding in August. The ones I'm considering are M&S, Confetti and Debenhams.
They are all around the same price and offer similar cover.
Unless anyone else has any better ideas??Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

I think we went through moneysupermarket.com or some other similar insurance search engine and chose the cheapest - we made sure we did that before we put down any deposits - just in case!0

Another company that does wedding insurance is e&l insurance:
https://www.eandl.org.uk/wi
Tel 08449 809 559
Haven't used them myself so have no idea what they are like.0 -
M and S seem to be popular - when is the best time to take it out - got around 1 year 4 months to go but am going to be starting putting down deposits so thought it would be best to take it out soon after..?0

most insurers will not insure you unless you wedding is more than 2 years away and less than 28 days from your date,
e and l insurers say to take it out as soon as you start paying deposits.

Is this a typo? I'm only asking because when I have been looking they said that they WOULD NOT insure you if your wedding was more than 2 years away.
The advice on one website (I think M&S) is to not insure much more than 2 years in advance and no later than a month before the wedding. Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j

sorry yes a typo,
When should we take out wedding insurance? Wedding Insurance should be taken out as soon as you make any bookings or pay any deposits towards your wedding. However, we do not accept applications more than 2 years or less than 21 days before the date of your wedding.0
