The graco one in asda is the next stage up so would be no good for the OP.
We bought a Maxi Cosi Tobi for our littlest one and it is perfect! My OH spent 3 weeks going through wickes to find out which was the best/safest on the market ... we ended up with that one and my little girl went in a couple of months earlier as it was safer for her to do so.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I can recomend the Britax first class si. it is from new born upto 4 years.
in halfords it is about 120- 130
I went to babysmart.co.uk
only 90ish BUT before i bought it i emailed britax to check up on babysmart to ensure that they are dealers all came back clear.

I would NEVER buy a childs car seat without having it properly test fitted in the car. What is perfect in my car may not fit the shapes of your car seats. You could always get halfirds, babies r us, mothercare etc to fit one then shopbot it to see if you can get the same one cheaper. We got ours a few weeks ago in the toys r us sale- £40 off0
