How to spend Nectar points

sorry if this is the wrong section, wasnt sure which catorgory it would fall under.

maybe a silly question but how do i spend my nectar points? i have collected them from shopping / petrol etc etc

when i was in sainsburys buying something i asked the girl supporting the self service check out if i could use my nectar card on these machines and she said, tp spend them or just to swipe your card.

so i imagine i can spend my points in store but can i not spend them online and get the items delivered?

thanks

You can spend Nectar points in store or online straight from the card - £2.50 for 500 points. You can also buy electrical goods etc at the nectar e-store.

    www.nectar.com

We usually spent them at Argos where you just present the Nectar card at the cash desk as a contribution to the cost of whatever you've bought

ive gone to the nectar site and gone to spend points or shop and then it takes me directly to that companys web site.

when i pick my item an go to check out, theres nowhere to put my card number or anything in.

Edit: also, can i use my nectar points to exchange to euros or do i have to spend them from those retailers?

If you want to spend them at Sainsburys for home delivery you'll need to go through the Sainsburys site, not the nectar site

  • I'd like to use me points at argos as well, is there a limit as to how many points you can use at the checkout, or can you use your whole balance for money off things..

As long as you have enough points you can pay with all points. We bought some phones for about £60, all with points.

Just ask the checkout person how many points or vouchers are on the card and say how many you would liek to take off the bill, i think you can only take off less than the bill eg your bill has come to £62.34 and you can only take of £60, i could be wrong, ill try and find out tomorrow
