newbie here.Decided to cancel my contract with homecall.I know I will have to pay up to £150,but weve had enough of them.Has anyone else done this and what formal procedure did they take to make it run smoothly-oh im not havin a laugh! Also my partner wants to go back to BT.Can anyone else suggest where i can find info for a reasonable phone /internet package with average to good customer service. My expectations are low.Any ideas.ps have allready spoken to ofcom, otelo, and emailed watchdog.Incidentally ofcom have a section online to email them e.g customer service issues so they can look to a pattern of customer complaints re phone companies.go to https://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain. Workers of the world unite,we have nothing to lose but our chains!ps not a political statement, just get some consumer payback going there.

On the phone side, suggest you go back to BT on Option 1, it will cost you £11 a month (With the BT line you can get free caller display.)Which other providers will charge up to £1.75p a month for.

For Peak 01/02 calls then register with 1899 calls just 3p a call. https://www.1899.com

For E&W calls register with Primus Saver 2 for completely FREE calls to 01/02 numbers.

For Cheaper Mobile ,NGN ,and International Calls register with 18185. https://www.18185.co.uk

(One of the advantages of these three products is that you only pay for what use.Dont pay whilst your on holiday.Like you do with inclusive packages.)

    Use free DQ at 0800 0192 190.

Consider investing in a Orchid Dialler. So you dont have to remember codes.
