L V Car Insurance Renewal Get It Cheaper

Hi I just wanted to make people aware of this, I have only been insured with LV for a year and my insurance was up for renewal, i got a quote for £355.
On the lettter there is a freephone number, I phoned it and talked to an customer advisor all i said to her is that if she can do anything for me , she said she can't personally but would put me through to someone who can.
She put me through, it was some guy, i just said i want a better deal he knocked £50 of straight away without even asking anyone, so now its £315.
Worth a try hopes it helps someone.
