No, they don't do current accounts.

It is curious that Bank of Scotland are the 7th worst bank & Sainsbury's Bank
are the 7th best bank. Sainsbury's Bank is run by BoS at their headquarters in Edinburgh. BoS also own 50% of Sainsbury's Bank.

many of the upgrade calls are coming through to the sales team they have targets to meet and are rightly annoyed when this happens:rolleyes:

I called the number that was labelled "Bank accounts". I also went through a series of automated questions to further narrow down the department.

All they have to do is do a short breif each morning expaining any new products. All I wanted to know is if I will be given a new account or upgrade my existing account.

I don't care whos job it is to upgrade me, I called the relevant phone number so they should be able to deal with it, or transfer me to someone that can.
