hi, my hubby got flashed last november but we didnt receive ticket until feb, i think it all depends on how quick they are to change the film and analyse the info, was it a double flash or a single as apparently a double means you are caught a single means there is not any film in there so it can go off but not record.
    :rotfl:
"its always in the last place you look!" of course it is, once you have found it you dont keep looking! ha ha

I hope there was a good reason for the delay?!

The law says that, unless there is a good reason, the N I P must be served upon the Registered Keeper of the vehicle within 14 days of the offence.

A good reason would be, for example, if you have moved and not notified the DVLA, or if you have just recently acquired the vehicle and your name is not yet on the V5 (amongst others).

If you are not the RK of the vehicle and it's registered to a leasing company or your employers, then the N I P should be served upon them within 14 days, and then you just have to wait to hear.

But, OP, if your friend is the RK of the vehicle and there is no reason why there should be a delay, then it looks as though he's in the clear.

If he DOES get something, tell him to keep the envelope and come back here before he does anything with the form.

Sorry but when did he get flashed?
