Hi Can someone give me some advice.
I have lots of old photos of my parents wedding etc and want to copy them onto a disc so I can create a slide show for them for their golden wedding anniversary.
Ideally I want to show the photos at the venue either on a large TV or screen as a slide show. will I have to use publisher for this?
Sorry I don't know where to start.
Someone said to get the photos scanned professionally on a disc then convert to a dvd with added captions etc.
Thanks for any advice.

I've converted all mine with a canon 4400f photo scanner , you can use windows Movie Maker to then compile and burn them to DVDEx forum ambassador

Either get a photo scanner or check with local photo shops if they offer this service
For a simple display try powerpoint/windows movie maker otherwise some specialist software would be needed0 -
I scanned all my slides and photos with a scanner similar to this:

Bought it second-hand off eBay and sold it when I finished. Made a profit!

If you've got Vista Windows DVD Maker als has an option to create and burn a Photo slide show on a DVD.It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
How about something like this to scan the pics to your pc
